Welcome to The Common Ground Initiative where we foster meaningful conversation, respect between different communities, and pursue the truth together.

We are an education based social enterprise whose goal is to create a platform where people can have respectful conversations about their differing beliefs and ways of life, while supporting each other in the pursuit of truth. We believe that in order for this to take place, one must first address the religious and cultural misconceptions that exist as well as recognize that while other communities may have different worldviews, we all share some common values upon which we can relate.

To achieve our goal, we offer in-depth classes that focus on misunderstood concepts in religions, cultural traditions/norms, as well as comparative classes that examine how different belief systems align and where they diverge in both their teachings and values. Through these classes, we empower individuals to gain a deeper understanding of both their own and others' perspectives.

What is a Worldview?
A worldview is the lens through which people and communities understand life, make decisions, and shape culture. A person's worldview is their beliefs, values, and assumptions about the world, including religious, philosophical, and cultural traditions.
At the Common Ground Initiative, we believe that understanding others' worldviews is key to fostering respect and friendship between people in this diverse world. With this in mind, our courses delve into the similarities and differences of cultures and religions, providing a deeper understanding of the values and principles that guide different communities.
